Tracing over Jhonen Vasquez cartoons and dumping them frame for frame into Flash doesn't add anything to them that wasn't already there in their original form.

The musical portion of this was the weakest part. So props to you for having done everything but that part.

I don't think I've ever imagined seeing so many geeky pop-culture references in such rapid succession. It was like a non-stop stream of them. It was awesome. The imagery gave life to a song that was only mildly clever and fairly bland. Great job with that.

The best parts were when it sounded like he was saying "KAH!" again and again. I enjoyed that. And the parts about tooth decay and whatnot as well.

David Firth does some cool things. I think the creepiest thing about this movie though is that it's a flash movie made about another flash author. It's a bit like a beaver gnawing away the wood of a tree in the same fashion as another beaver it thought to be an especially significant wood gnawer, as a sort of tribute to that significant wood gnawer. Or, in less beaver-oriented terms, if a professional football player dressed up like another player for a game or two. That'd be weird.

Anyhow, what about the part of David's life that involves following Devo around with a camcorder?

I'm usually not a big fan of movies about people and their friends. But between the dialog, the soundtrack (it's about time someone used that Beck song in a decent movie, and nothing underscores a car ride sequence like anything by Cypress Hill), and the ending; it was entertaining enough to tap a 5 out of me. Good stuff.

It would be better if the music didn't pause at the end before looping. Other than that, I like it.
